Kylie has truly made this months K-25 suprise a big treat for all us Kylie fans. She has she premiered a stunning new video to the gorgeous song Flower. Finally after years of waiting we get a proper studio version and a stunning video, which btw she directed herself.



And as a fantastic bonus she is also going to release it on both cd and a picture 7" vinyl.



I have to say I am in Kylie heaven at the moment. I am so happy about this release!

She’s better known for her disco dance anthems than an orchestral symphony, but last night Kylie Minogue proved that she can do it all as she dazzled audiences at Proms in the Park.
The Australian goddess of pop took to the stage in Hyde Park and was joined by the BBC concert orchestra.

Kylie said: ‘I'm delighted to be performing at one of the UK's most outstanding nights of the musical calendar, and to sing in front of thousands of people whilst being accompanied by the legendary BBC Concert Orchestra in such a special year is truly a dream come true.’

KYLIE – THE ABBEY ROAD SESSIONS

Kylie Minogue releases her brand new album “The Abbey Road Sessions” on Parlophone Records on October 29.

The album features sixteen tracks, all radically reworked, spanning Kylie’s incredible 25 year career. The album was recorded in London’s legendary Abbey Road Studios with Kylie’s band and a full orchestra.

Nick Cave re-recorded his vocal on the famous duet, “Where The Wild Roses Grow”, especially for the album.

Other highlights of the album include a wonderfully poignant “Better The Devil You Know”, the ever-amazing “Confide In Me”, a sultry “On A Night Like This”, a joyous “All The Lovers”, the beautiful “Finer Feelings” and a version of “The Locomotion” which swaggers with true 1950’s panache.

Over all 16 tracks one thing becomes very clear – stripped of her high end pop production, the emotional resonance of many of Kylie’s songs has never been clearer, nor has her voice ever sounded better.

Kylie will perform most tracks from the album with the BBC concert Orchestra this Saturday September 8th at London’s Hyde Park, headlining Proms In the Park. Click here to pre-order

I am very much looking forward to this release, especially since it will be released on vinyl as well. That will look stunning on display somewhere in my appartment.

I have already seen the video performances of Finer Feelings and On a Night Like This earlier this year and they were stunning to say the least so this is going to be a very exciting release!

 

 

 

Now we just wait patiently until they release the stunning Flower as the single to promote the album.
